Reflexology is a soothing and grounding therapy that leaves you feeling balanced, lighter and reconnected.
When used regularly as part of a regular self-care routine reflexology can help to support our overall wellbeing, bringing the body back into balance and creating a better overall sense wellbeing.
In our modern lives we seem to be on the “go” a lot. Technology means we are accessible 24/7 and that we have access to information 24/7. The apps and system we use to access this information are designed to keep us engaged. In the face of this, I believe it is really important find moments of time where we disconnect from tech and reconnect with our body’s and the natural drive for inner harmony (homeostasis) that is with in all of us.
Modern science tell us how negative stress is to our health, so take time to unwind, ground and feel the calm our bodies and minds crave.

What is Reflexology
Reflexology works on the principle that different points on the feet correspond to specific areas of the body.
Through gentle pressure and the careful application of precise techniques, the body is gently encouraged into a deep state of relaxation and from here, body’s own healing systems can do their thing. Restoring harmony, easing stress, and improving overall wellbeing.

What to Expect
A thorough pre-appointment questionnaire so I can learn about you before you arrive - confidentially stored. Or, we can have time at the beginning of the appointment to complete this together
An home studio space where everything you need from parking to the toilet is on one level
A comfortable couch with pillows and blankets
A warm environment when the weather is cold
You only remove your shoes and socks then lay on the couch
I will cleanse your feet and begin to warn the feet with gentle massage and light stretches
Take a few deep breaths and relax and I continue to massage your feet using specific techniques to access special points that relate to parts of the body
After the massage we take a few more breaths and I leave you to gently come around
We talk through areas that may have been tender or points that I felt that may be of interest
The you get ready to book your next appointment and glide out to the rest of your day
After your Reflexology
If you can, please give yourself as much time as possible to re-enter your world particularly if it’s busy.
Keep hydrated with water or non-caffeinated drinks and eat healthy, light meals if possible. You may feel an increased need for hydration or a visit to the loo as your body responds to your relaxation.
Remember to book your follow-up appointment and find as many opportunities to drop into feelings of calm.
